FAA Physical Examinations

IMPORTANT: All of our FAA HIMS-trained AMEs (Airman Medical Examiners) ARE PILOTS and advocates for pilots, with fiduciary responsibility, through the FAA, for public safety.

You may also click Appointment Scheduler and fill in your name, type of physical and/or drug test, with contact phone numbers and e-mail. All appointments are subject to change and/or verification by our office. We will notify you. 

Our office is friendly and conveniently located at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport accessible by motor vehicle or plane. For those individuals who are flying in, there is a FREE shuttle to and from the main terminal and our office building. Also accessible by train and boat or a short cab ride from downtown Fort Lauderdale. We have great views of the planes landing while you wait in a reception area free of sick individuals, since we specialize only in physical examinations and drug testing. Appointments only, to keep waiting to a minimum. Evening hours are available. 

To start: please complete MedXPress prior to your appointment arrival. 

Record Review: We will give an opinion as to what must be accomplished and whether or not you could expect the FAA to issue you a medical certificate. This would be based on information provided to us in the form of complete unedited medical records. This service does not include preparation and submission of your request to the FAA. We can also prepare an outline of what needs to be accomplished. This is in addition to our in office services and will be charged appropriately.

We have the FAA-mandated computerized color vision test as of January 1st, 2025. We retain the Farnsworth Lantern Test (FALANT) and Dvorine Second Edition in our office for testing color deficiencies to be used in legal challenges.
